Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Robin Jett, and I’ve dedicated my life to the field of dentistry. Originally from a small farm in Iowa, I’ve always had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. I volunteer with the SD Humane Society and cherish my own rescue pup, Scooter, who will soon be celebrating his 9th birthday.

I’m a proud mom to a wonderful son living in Denver, and now that I have more free time, I enjoy hobbies like golfing, hiking, cooking, and taking my dogs for walks.

My dental journey began in the U.S. Navy, where I started as a dental hygienist. After six rewarding years of service, I decided to settle in the beautiful city of San Diego. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats in the dental field—working as a dental assistant, front office receptionist, insurance coordinator, and office manager. These experiences give me a well-rounded perspective, and I truly feel at home in this profession.

I started my journey here with Dr. De Rosier, from whom I learned so much, and I’ve always appreciated his kindness and expertise. Now, I’m excited to be working alongside Dr. Mobasseri, who is not only a highly skilled dentist but also such a positive person to be around.

Hello, I’m Mika Quimby. I’m very excited about becoming a part of this amazing team at Point Loma Comprehensive Dental. I see myself as a dedicated, passionate and skilled dental hygienist. I was born and raised in a small city in north eastern part of Japan and I’ve been in the dental field since I was 18. I completed dental hygiene schools both in my hometown and San Diego, and have been practicing as a registered dental hygienist here since 2018. I have experiences working as a front desk and a dental assistant before I became a dental hygienist in both Japan and California. I moved to the US in 2007, and have lived in Austin, Pasadena and Tokyo before I moved to San Diego.

I’m married and have two teenage daughters. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, exploring art museums and botanical gardens. I’m looking forward to meeting you and working together to archive optimal, healthier smiles.

I’m married to a dedicated and loving husband, and together we have three wonderful daughters - Angelyn, Aniela, and Arella. I’m always grateful for what I have and try to give back whenever possible. My husband and I are teaching our daughters the same values by taking them along to volunteer work. For example, once a month on Saturdays, we donate, cook, and serve meals at Ronald McDonald House at Rady Children’s Hospital for families with children who are facing critical conditions. We love participating in this event because it reminds us how fortunate we are to be healthy and how important it is to be grateful for everything we have.

Hello, my name is Jackie Ortiz. I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and have been living in San Diego for the past 10 years. I am a newly graduated dental assistant from Concorde Career College, and I am eager to continue my journey in the dental field. I believe that overall health begins in the mouth, and that a great smile can brighten anyone’s day. I am excited to be part of our patients’ journey toward feeling better and looking their best.

I am very family oriented and enjoy spending time with my mom and younger brother, exploring new restaurants, and sightseeing around the city. In my free time, I enjoy traveling for concerts, reading a good book, and going to the gym to improve my health and stamina.
